Tapeze keyboard for iOS · Last updated August 2026

Tapeze does not collect any data. Nothing you type is recorded, stored, or transmitted. The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no networking code of any kind.

What Tapeze does not do

• It does not log, save, or transmit your keystrokes.
• It does not send any data off your device — it has no network capability at all.
• It does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
• It does not track you across apps or websites.
• It does not create a profile of you or share information with third parties.

Why the keyboard asks for Full Access

iOS requires custom keyboards to request Full Access before they can use a shared app container. Tapeze uses that permission for exactly two things, both entirely on your device:

• Your settings. Layout, keyboard height, corner radius, theme, and label preferences are saved in a shared app group (group.com.gm2211.tapeze) so the settings you choose in the Tapeze app apply to the keyboard.
• The paste key. When you use the paste gesture, the keyboard reads the system clipboard so it can insert its contents into the field you are editing. The clipboard is read only at that moment, and its contents are not stored or sent anywhere.

Granting Full Access does not enable any transmission of your data, because Tapeze has no mechanism to transmit anything.

Where your data lives

Your preferences are stored locally on your device in the app group container. They are removed when you delete the app. Nobody, including the developer, can see them.

Children

Tapeze does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
